The Ved'ma
The Ved'ma is a russian witch who sold her soul to the devil in exchange of magic powers. She is young and beautiful in the South and ugly and old in the North. She torments essentially the farmers by making rot the harvests, by curdling the fresh milk, by contaminating the cattle or by stealing the wheat. She transforms herself into animals, the magpie being her most malefic shape and she rides a poker to move.
